You would expect an AI assistant like Alexa to easily answer what’s her favorite color. However, when I ask “Alexa what’s your favourite color?” she seemed unsure. Her exact answer was: “Blue is my favourite. No wait, yellow is my favourite color”.
Isn’t this weird? I was expecting a straight answer to such a simple question. How am I supposed to trust you, Alexa, on answering more complicated ones in the future? Also, even though yellow symbolizes optimism, energy, and joy, it is also the color of jealousy, betrayal, illness, and danger. Are you trying to warn us about something, Alexa?
11. Ask Alexa to build a snowman with you
On snowy days, having someone to build a snowman with is such a great privilege. Of course, asking Alexa to build a snowman with you shouldn’t be an alternative. Still, we asked her to build a snowman with us, and here was her response: “I don’t have my gloves with me.”
Really Alexa? Is that the only problem you encounter? I thought you were just a virtual assistant. If you had your gloves with you, would you grow legs and hands and come with us to build a snowman? What a weird answer…
