We tested the Cintiq, intous and various other wacom tablets on photoshop, lightroom and the rest of the adobe suit, as well as the corel suite. Functionality

Wireless capability was another factor that we considered in our ranking process. They are more portable and are a stand-alone device, but have smaller screen sizes and aren’t as powerful as a Pc or laptop, which your wacom tablet would be connecting to.

There are two alternatives to using a drawing tablet like the Wacom for editing pictures. the first is an standard tablet like the ipad, android (samsung), and windwos (microsoft usrface Pro), the second is a drawing tablet like the Huion, and xp-pen. Which you choose will be based on personal preference, and whether you are looking for a dedicated graphic design tablet or a more general use tablet that is portable.

I have used both the Huion, Xp-Pen and the Wacom tablets as well as the standard iPad and Android tablets for photo editing. I personally prefer using a drawing tablet over an iPad, android, windows if I’m getting very technical work done.

There’s also picmonkey and others, but graphic designers will likely want more advanced functions like this photoshop.
